Framing options will change for each specific exhibition. For the current exhibition the paintings don’t require a frame and so these framing options are not applicable. However, in future exhibitions you will have a number of framing options.
The first option is to receive the artwork unframed. Obviously, sending the art unframed reduces postage costs. You are then free to frame the artwork to your own tastes.
If you would prefer to receive the artwork already framed, then we can offer the following options. The important thing to note is the framing process is flexible and we will listen to your wishes.
As a guideline, we will offer a number of fairly standard framing options we consider best for a given quality and cost.
Basic Framing - This option will be suitable for low value purchases. The frame will be either a simple metal or wood frame with matte. Probably of the mass produced variety. Expect to pay in the range of $25 to $50.
Standard Framing - Generally speaking we will be framing the pictures with this option. They will be framed to order by an experienced framer. You will be given a choice of frame material colours and styles within reason. Expect to pay in the range of $70 to $200.
High Quality Framing - You can always request this option. We would expect this option will become appropriate as the winning bid value gets serious! Framing will be done with full consideration of your wishes. Framing will be done with special care by an expert. Expect to pay in the range of $150 to $400.
