Today I did a slow walk around the gallery as the sun was going down. Hopefully it gives you a good idea of what the gallery looks like from all angles. Didn’t catch the sunset itself, but notice how the walls change colour as it gets dark. It’s quite strange they almost glow.

Finished - or is it?
As with all things, for a moment we sat back this afternoon and thought ‘it’s finished!’ Had a drink, marveled at all the hard work and fine craftsmanship. Eventually, thoughts turn to what is left to do, in no time we had a long list. Still, we’re all pretty happy with the result so far.

Quite a bit of work went into the entrance
One thing to say for building on a dry salt lake, no lost days to rain! We’ve been here for 6 weeks now and with only a couple of minor setbacks everything is right on schedule.

The interior is all but finished. The doors have to be fitted, and a whole heap of lights are going in over the next few days. We put in a bunch of solar cells in the ground about 40m from here more than enough solar energy out here.
